Foundation Repair in Troy, MI

Troy is an Oakland County hub along I-75, and its housing is newer than most of the region — much of it built from the 1960s onward, with larger colonials and ranches on bigger lots. Newer doesn't mean trouble-free, though. The same heavy clay sits under Troy, and many of these homes are now forty to sixty years old, right in the window where original drain tile and sump systems start to go.

Branches of both the Rouge and Clinton rivers run through Troy, and the flat terrain means storm water pools against foundations rather than running off. The larger lots here often mean longer downspout runs and more grading to manage — and when the grade has settled back toward the house over the decades, water follows it right to the foundation. Troy's mix of newer construction on difficult clay is a common reason we get called.

If your Troy home has a wet basement, a bowing wall, or cracks that keep coming back, call us. We'll come out and tell you what's actually wrong before we talk about fixing it.
